Alarna Curtis
Alarna has 19 years of dance training including an Advanced Diploma in Dance. She has trained in an extensive range of dance styles including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Salsa, Singing, Acting as well as training in various aerial apparatuses at the National Institute of Circus Arts.
After training in classical ballet for five years at Melbourne Dance Theatre she then completed a professional commercial course at The Edge Performers School. Her professional, industry experience includes numerous corporate events such as Fashion Aid, Lighthouse Foundation Charity Ball and was selected to be part of the ensemble for contemporary company ‘Vertical Shadows’ season of The White Prince. She has also been a part of four Masters of Choreography productions in Melbourne including having the main role in Emma Vaiano’s memorable piece, The Little Mermaid in Once Upon Time.
In 2015, Alarna was thrilled to be selected as part of Masters Of Choreography’s first Australian tour Beats On Pointe. After touring both regionally and nationally, as well as performing in sister show ‘Raise The Barre’, Alarna travelled to London with the company for a highly successful season on the West End.
