Jayden White
Jayden began dancing at the age of 4 at local dance school where he learnt jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop and Spanish. At 15 he was later encouraged to pursue classical ballet more seriously and trained at a more classical orientated school in Perth to further his studies in not only ballet, but also Spanish and contemporary.
At age 16, Jayden was accepted into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) full time course and graduated with a diploma in Dance (Elite Performance). He then successfully auditioned for the New Zealand School of Dance and moved to Wellington where he furthered his training and graduated with a Certificate in Dance Performance: Classical Major.
Jayden joined the Victorian State Ballet as a Corps de Ballet member at the start of 2018 and has been fortunate enough to perform in productions such as Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty & The Beast, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. Some of his highlights so far would be going on tour with the company while performing as both Le Fou and Maurice in Beauty & The Beast. Jayden is looking forward to teaching at Rippleside Performing Arts this year while still performing with the Victorian State Ballet company.
